Know the highest navigable lake of the world (12506 ft.); visit the different islands, such as Taquile, Amantani or the floating ones, Uros. Observe the Chullpas de Sillustani which are very close to the beautifull Umayo lagoon. Get involved with the living culture of the local communities, such as Luquina, Taquile, Amantani among others and share with them the experience of staying in their traditional houses. We also offer tours less touristy but highly recommended for who looking for a different experience and unforgettable.

ITINERARY

DAY 1

  • At 08:00 h, transfer to the port of Puno to board the boat and depart to Uros Islands where you will stay for 45 minutes approximately. There, you will have the option to sail in a traditional cattail boat. The boating continues to Taquile Island. It has a beautiful view of the lake. After lunch in Taquile, you will visit Luquina where you will be invited to participate of the different traditional activities that do the villagers such as agriculture and fishing.
  • After dinner at the family’s house, there will be a presentation of traditional music by the villagers. They preserve their rites and customs ancestral.
  • Rest at the traditional houses.

DAY 2

  • At 08:00 h, breakfast. After it, we will go hiking for one hour around the community and reach the viewpoint. Besides, you will have the option to navigate in a traditional boat of fishing around the peninsula.
  • After lunch in Luquina village, we will return to Puno city.
  • Transfer to the hotel or the terminal.

Do not wait a travel partner. Only a few people dare to leave the comfort zone but remember the real rewards are abroad.
